Hey Gang!

Good weekend? Sorry that this didn’t arrive on Friday. After Trophy Tour I was a bit exhausted, and then snails took over the inside of my computer making everything really slooooow – and because it was Friday evening by then, there wasn’t anyone in the IT department to help!

Next month…
Now I am not going to elaborate on what we’ve got coming up next month for a couple of weeks yet – but I know you’ll be happy with it.

Why wasn’t my comment posted?
Apart from the usual reasons – does it contain a swear word, is it defammatory, or rude or unkind to another Member… There are also certain situations where we won’t post a comment straight away.

If you have a problem that we want to look into we may not post your comment whilst we investigate. It may mean it’s something we don’t know about, and we’re as surprised as you. But it certainly doesn’t mean you’re being ignored or your issue isn’t important to us. But please remember that – if you have a specific complaint you should always contact our lovely Customer Service team in Atlanta as that’s what they do. We can’t guarantee that we will spot your complaint on the blog.

Magazine coupons
We’ve heard that some of you are trekking down to your local supermarket to redeem your magazine vouchers only to be told by the supermarket that your vouchers are not accepted. I know how frustrating this can be, so I’ve spoke to the guys in charge of this promotion and they have confirmed that all major UK grocery retailers have assured us that their corporate policy is to accept these coupons and that they’ve briefed all of their stores to accept them.

We’re speaking to all of the store groups to remind them about this agreement, so if you have problems in store please contact Customer Services with the name and the address of the store in question and we’ll go back to them.

Americanisms and sceptism
One or two people have pointed out there have been a few americanisms quoted on the blog and have asked if this could possibly be american Coca-Cola employees posting up comments. As most of you know, I won’t publish anything knowingly that isn’t genuine. This blog is really important to me and as it’s guardian I can tell you that as far as I know it’s all true on here. There isn’t any Coca-Cola employees on here that I’m aware of.

Daisy Dares You winner
I saw a post about the Daisy Dares You competition asking why the prize of a shopping trip with Daisy Dares you could only be offered to someone ages 12 to 25.

….And that’s true, anyone could win the prize but it would need to be given to a loved one of the correct age group.

Well, it’s simply because Daisy is 16 year old girl and her mum wouldn’t have felt comfortable with the prize draw if it meant anyone could be going out for the day with her daughter – as all the mums out there would agree.

The winner was Lucy Stratford from Hertfordshire. Well done Lucy

Trophy-Tour-Tastic
Last week was all about the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour. To those of you that were there, I hope you had as good a time as I did. To those that weren’t but watched it here on the blog, hope you still felt part of the fun.

Streaming the event live on the blog was an extremely exciting thing for us to do – and I am really hoping we’ll have more of this sort of stuff in the future. If you missed out on the blog event then you might not know we’re also on Twitter… Follow us HERE and you’ll get regular tweets on all the cool stuff we’re doing – as well as a heads up on posts here on the blog.

And finally…
If you have any account or order queries please go to to Customer Services The blog isn’t the place that can get you speedy answers
